South Cumbria Rivers Trust and Duddon River Association will be running two leaky dam building events at Troutal Farm in the Duddon Valley on the 5th and 6th March. We are looking for volunteers to help us install 22 leaky dams, which will expand on a series of leaky dams installed on the Syke in 2022 and 2023. The dams will aid in slowing and attenuating flows, helping towards slowing flood peak and improving water quality. 

Please bring suitable footwear (wellies or good boots would be preferable), weather appropriate clothing, lunch and water with you.
