Black Combe, the most southern and western fell in the Lake District, is home to Black Combe Runners (BCR), a small, friendly fell running club. Members come from Ulverston, Broughton, Barrow, Millom, and the surrounding areas, and regularly run across the South Lakes. The club also organises several races throughout the fell running calendar. BCR’s Tuesday evening social runs provide an excellent introduction to fell running, and guests are always welcome to join.
